These Programs Offer Affordable Or Free Internet For Low-Income Households

Do you lack a lot of room in your budget for an internet connection in your home? No worries, as these programs can give it to you very affordably or even free.

If you need help right away, this relief program will direct deposit a short term loan into your bank account. Review the terms of this funding closely before accepting these funds.

An internet connection could easily be considered a necessity and no longer a luxury, especially if you have kids.

You can use it to learn new skills and keep in touch with friends and family. Or you can use it to complete everyday tasks like paying bills and banking. Most important of all, your children can use it for school assignments to further their education.

Unfortunately, internet connectivity is not easily obtained by all. And it appears as if low-income families and those that live in rural areas are hit the hardest.

Regardless of why you have trouble getting internet access, this article will hopefully point you in the right direction of how to get it.

Affordable or Free Internet Plans

NetZero

It may not be the most technologically advanced of the bunch, but NetZero can give you 10 hours of free dial-up internet service per month.

Will you want to rely on these 10 monthly hours for all of your internet needs? Probably not, but it does give you a backup option for when your finances are incredibly tight.

Since it’s one of the rare examples of genuinely free internet for low-income households, NetZero is undoubtedly worth looking at.
